If u read your Bible there is no mention of changing the sabbath day from 7th to 1st day. Man made that wrong decision to change the day. Every argument ive heard for keeping sabbath on the 7th day then attacks those keeping on a sunday never address the issue of what day is really the 7th day...and whose calender are you using...saturday is not mentioned in the bible anywhere...also...the point of the sabbath is to take a day of rest etc etc once every week...so if someone observes that one day every week...does it really matter to God it is sunday or wednesday or whatever day that works with their work schedule as long as they are observing a day for God

I can slightly remember someone telling me that because people back in the day could not actually pinpoint Yeshua’s birth, they chose 12/25 as the ‘day’ for celebrating His birth. I've worked hard my whole life as a welder. I believe there is a balance. A lot of people only work hard and forget to be there in a spiritual and supportive role for their family. I have worked 84 hr weeks a lot. I think a lot of companies aren't paying people fair or in keeping with the rise of cost.

From what I have been told, the current Christian church services are for worship, praise, prayer, and Bible Study, not for “rest” , and are a celebration of the resurrection of Christ as in the day that the women came to the tomb and discovered Jesus had risen. Rest on still on Saturday (the Sabbath) and is still observed by resting from work and their M-F jobs. Luke 24:1

Tithing should be joyous not a min of your intake. I left a church because the pastor pushed and made you feel bad if you didn't Tith 10% min. Remember the church is God's house not ours,yours or theirs it's God's house

I think work is a more personal thing, correct me if im wrong. But i cannot see it being the same when im out there chopping down trees or tripping pipe, (work) as being the same as playing in the garden or even doing a few gardening tasks, i know im grasping at straws here, but sabbath day is one of the few times where i have the time to go and enjoy the things i spend all week working towards. One man might say something was the hardest thing they ever did, while his brother can say it was the easiest. One might do hard work like the roughneck would not even think being a people greater at walmart was any work at all .

Tithing is not mandatory in the New Testament however you can give it voluntarily. While Jesus did not abolish tithing, the New Testament does not command or recommend a legalistic tithe system.
