Even if you are unable to hold a pilots certificate you should still be able to work with a flight school to get you airborne and pilot a helicopter without too much hassle. pilotteacher.com/people-with-disabilities-can-they-become-a-pilot/ Rick

Just an observation. I find it amazing that the drive mechanism for a steam locomotive and the.mechanisms under the main rotor blade just don’t fly apart when at top speeds. You really have to give credit to the engineers that designed these mechanisms.

Great video and information! I love your videos! Something I would add in the beginning of this journey is to take an intro flight with the school you want to attend (if possible). This will give you a good idea of what their facility and aircraft are like. You can tour their facility and ask the instructor as many questions as you want. I did this and it cost around $300, definitely worth it if you're not 100% sure.

So much to know what's where and how you doing this for student pilots really really makes it so much helpful like a radiant way or like a checklist to know this is what's almost the whole thing is gonna look like gives hope coz it's better than us diving head forst into something without knowing what's what I appreciate the effort loved the whole information was very useful. You might save a lot as all you would need to do would be a conversion. The best thing to do would be contact a flight school and get them to give you an exact idea then you can compare it to starting fresh with no aviation experience and that will show your savings.

It never started because I don't want to spend half my life savings to go to Flight School just to get a laminated plastic piece of paper. I want to make money, not spend money. Spending money is the wrong direction... The easiest way to make money is to never spend it. I know Hannah Reitsch didn't have to go through this much regulation crrppoola. You certainly don't have to do any of this to fly an ultralight aircraft. I don't even think my grandpa who flew 171 missions in a P38 had to do this much bullshlt, or my dad who was an air traffic controller in the 70's.

You have to be younger, as 65 is mandatory retirement for pilots, and you need a 4 year collage degree.
@PilotTeacher
@PilotTeacher 10 ай бұрын
No and no. A degree is not required. I know of only two helicopter pilots who have a degree and that was from a previous career. Its only the airlines that have the maximum age of 65 to be a commercial pilot. I know many helicopter instructors and pilots flying after 65. If you can maintain a medical certificate then you can fly.

The more videos I watch of this youTuber its more obvious he really is not the teacher he claims. I could pick holes till the cows come home and its just the sound of his voice that rings alarm bells and rases red flags. This video suggests you do training in the USA, and do your medical in your home country that needs to be with an FAA medical examiner and odds are its going to be a distance from you. The FAA do not accept aviation medicals done by other countries aviation medical examers. some countries do let you do their aviation medical exam with a medical examiner in another country. USA training is not the same as other countries. Canada is the only country that recognizes a US licence and everywhere else, you will have to do more training, get a recommendation and do a flight test. Then, get ready for the bad news, if you do training in the USA , get your qualifications, US immigration will at the drop of a hat invent reasons why to ban you for years from reentering the USA. India is one country that seems to be getting a lot of bans and its often assocated with a failed visa application. Two failed visa applications can get you banned from the USA for years. Avoid crossing the Peace Bridge in British Columbia, it has the highest rate of bans issued than any US border crossing generally because of Trumper anti foreigner attitudes.
@PilotTeacher
@PilotTeacher 5 ай бұрын
It's interesting you talk about alarm bells and that I'm not a teacher. I have done the exact journey I talk about and have been a flying instructor in the US so I have experienced what I talk about. As for the medical, I was not referring to getting an FAA medical in your home country, because, as you said, there are no/very few FAA medical examiners outside of the US. Im talking about getting a medical in your own country buy your countries governing aviation body to ENSURE that you are able to get a medical certificate BEFORE you pump lots of monty into flight training. As for Canada, they do not recognise the US pilot certificates. When I moved to Canada from the US I still had to complete a Transport Canada medical, commercial written examination and complete a commercial flight test before begin awarded my Transport Canada Commercial Pilot Certificate. And again, as for the US visa, once it expires you have to leave, but there is no problem returning to the US to visit using your own countries passport. I live 30 minutes from the US border and have crossed it dozens of times using both my British and Canadian passports without issue. My videos were created to help people learn to fly using my own experiences. No bullshit, no fluff. If I have no experience with it I don't preach it or I state that it is only my opinion. Rick
