Trading flip flops for snow boots, we ditched the sunshine for sub-zero temps in Alaska! ❄️ This adventure took a wild turn - will we find the Northern Lights or end up lost in the wilderness? There is a surprise ending.

Following our 'steps': how did we get here?
We are Adam (North American) and Bernardo (Brazilian) and we are husbands whose paths crossed back in 2016, when we both still lived in Brazil. Since the very beginning, we shared a common passion for travel and nature, which has only grown over the years and led us to this unexpected journey on KZbin, which has allowed us to connect with an amazing community that we’re beyond grateful for. “Go out and make memories” is our motto of living and a constant reminder for us that true happiness doesn’t come from the material wealth we accumulate, but from the memories we create and share with our loved ones throughout our existence. We invite you to join us in our crazy journey in life and hopefully we can inspire you to go out and make some memories on your own. Welcome aboard!

The photos you showed in the video would be great for our watercolor class to paint someday. Can't wait for the next video episode of Alaska. You guy do some crazy things like falling into a snowbank to wake up. Big hugs to you both. Love you. **

Hey guys! Me again with another comment or two. I was a TV news photographer and editor for 6 years, so I appreciate the work you put into your videos. This project was extra special. Your final edited video was awesome, and I especially loved the drone footage. I can only imagine how many hours of raw video you shot. Unless you’ve actually done it, you don’t have any idea how much planning it takes. Plus, you must have an idea of what you want the finale video to look like! You had so many great cut-away shots, interiors, exterior, in the water and snow, low light, no light plus the driving shots in the vehicle. It was awesome. You really take pride in your work and I can see that in every video. Thanks for what you do to keep us entertained and thanks for sharing your story. Until next time, take good care of yourselves! ❤😊🎥

Wow Randy, what a lovely comment. Thank you for watching our videos and secondly for leaving such a sweet comment. I (Adam) enjoy flying the drone. We have somewhat of an idea for the end of the video but as we were not sure if we would see the Northern Lights, it was hard to kind of 'control' this video which sometimes works out better than the ones we have planned. We got lucky with this one. We thank you so much for seeing the work we put into our videos and for watching them. We're here because of people like you... thank you!

I have lived in snow country all of my 68 years and the Northern Lights is one thing I never get tired of seeing. When I was young, a group of us would take the snowmobiles out in the country and we would sit there for hours watching the Northern Lights dance in the sky. One thing with growing up in snow is you learn first of all to have respect for the weather as you can freeze your feet and hands quickly when it's -35 below. We always carry survival kits in our vehicles just in case. Glad you guys enjoyed your trip to Alaska.

As a retired airline employee, having traveled around the world many many times during my 30 years, this amazing trip and the breathtaking scenery finds me a bit guilt ridden that I have yet to make it to Alaska to enjoy as much of it as you did. Dare I say, thanks to you both, I've added it to the top of my bucket list ... appreciate your having introduced me to the many splendors that await myself and others you may have inspired to make the trip there. Yes, the United States has many wonderful places and attractions available for all to see and explore. With deep appreciation for your documentary quality video, you've shown us Alaska is certainly among the most beautiful, can't wait to see it up close and personal myself, including dinner at that not really romantic diner ... thank you for that Adam and Bernardo. Gotta love you guys. ♥

I’m lucky I get to see the Aurora (no. lights) if I take a 1-2hr trip away from the light pollution of Minneapolis. The first time I saw a full blown multicolored event I was brought to tears. It was so magical I was emotional. The colors were green, peach, pink, purple, blue and the sky was dancing!

Hi there, I'm so glad to find the new video as I just started to subscribe you guys a few days ago. I come from China, on New Year's Day, I was shocked by the fact that my best male friend is gay, cause I regretted I was always being stupid, trying to introduce girls to him. That's basically the reason why I became curious of how gay couples get along, I found you and I just can't stop watching all the videos you created.
