Another great older song (14 years old) is Shinjitsu no Uta by Do As Infinity . Imagine clear powerful female vocals accompanied by a Rockband and a Erhu a Chinese string instrument .

By the way, I think I’m the biggest Do As Infinity fan in the U.S. They started out pop rock with almost jazzy vocals and have built a diverse library over the last 20 years. Listen to their album “Lounge” which is a set of lounge versions of their singles. I love it.

There's a great video out there where Stereopony and SCANDAL are up in stage together doing Hitohira No Hanabira. It's great to see Shioho and Rina matching drum beats, Tomo and Nohana killing that baseline and Haruna, Aimi and Mami hittimng those guitar riffs. And everyone chips in on the vocals. It's a really cool video of two great J-rock bands.
