We’re about to install a lithium upgrade to our Super Maramu as well. Your videos are a great help and I’ve watched them a number of times. I’m anxiously awaiting your video on the WS500 as we are about to install this as well. Thanks so much for all you effort in preparing these videos!

Hi Herman.. I had to put the video editing on hold for a while we're in New Zealand to concentrate on maintenance after the long Pacific crossing.. and some family time of course. But yes a WS500 is in the pipeline. Not sure when it'll be out.. I guess when I get to the near bottom of my jobs list!

Just about to make my order for lithium batteries on our super maramu thanks so much for all the guidance and help with our boat just got done doing a timing belt and water pump on anchor using your video to guide us

Thank you for your videos there are quite instructive. I wonder if it is necessary to install a Sterling alternator protector if you are installing a WS500. I could be wrong but I have understood that the same WS 500 could be work as a protector too. Thank you.

They do different jobs. My understanding is that basically, the Sterling is a surge protector and the WS500 regulates the charge from the alternator to the Lithium batteries to prevent overheating.

When I watched the video I wondered where the DC to DC charge controller was., next video.

The next video will be installing the WS500 alternator regulator but I do have a DC to DC charger.. just haven't had time to fit it yet. It's on the 'to do' list with many other jobs!
