Illustrator to After Effects: 3D Model Animation Workflow

Over 20 years using After Effects and I didn't know you could drag the output module from render queue into your project. Great video as always Eran. Depth Scanner looks like the easiest way to get round lack of DOF with advanced 3D for now. Definitely going to look into that. Cheers!

@SternFX Did you notice the color changes from Red to Magenta for the Tie and Bow from navy blue to cyan blue... how to rectify this....

Do you know why the colors change when you import 3D from illustrator into After Effects and how can it be fixed?

Make sure to set your color setting in both apps to the same working space, start with Rec. 709 Gamma 2.4

@@SternFX Great video. One of the rare on KZbin with logical and pragmatical advice. Sorry to bother you, but I seem to be having the same problem. The colors are washed-out, regardless of the color profile. I did try to change both (AI and AE) profiles to Rec. 709 Gamma 2.4, but the problem remains. Do you have advice?

how do you embed animations into a 3d model... when i add 3d model into after effects , it only says "name" , in the animation options ... plz help
