Hmm, really think you should have compared Magenta instead of Magenta Max since you went with AT&Ts Starter plan as well as Verizon's Play More. Or Max versus Get More and Unlimited Premium. Max isn't that great of a deal unless you are using it for the Hardware offers.

I’ve recently switched from Verizon after having them for 15 years to T-Mobile, and have been blown away by how much better my service has been. Especially at my house, which is in a very rural area. I rarely had more than one or two bars of LTE with Verizon, and now I generally have, two bars of 5G with T-Mobile. I can even use my hotspot to play games online on my PS five. Very impressed with T-Mobile‘s service improvements over the years.

I think it depends on the area in which you live as to which carrier offers the best signal. The area where I live and work, Verizon works best for me. However, people who live the opposite direction from work, T-Mobile works better for them. AT&T is a distant 3rd, with Verizon & T-Mobile essentially sharing 1st and it being a matter of preference. I will say, if I didn't have Verizon, I would have T-Mobile.

A couple of things you did not mention: Tmobile includes taxes and fees, so add ~$10 to other plans depending where you live. Also.. "deprioritized data" with MVNO. In most cases you will have very similar service. But If you are in a very busy area (stadium/busy subway stations) you may notice you are not able to access data at all, while other can.

I am Verizon and understand what you are talking about also. But I’m not doing subways anymore. But it may slow down in some spots. But you know what? $77 a month versus $30 a month? And I’m on the same system as Verizon? And they keep trying to penalize me six dollars a month. We’re just having a single line? I can live with it. I don’t live with my phone stuck in my face. I have an iPad that I use a lot. So to me this is a minor inconvenience. It’s better than a Dixie cup and string ha ha.

I just switched from VERIZON $135 to VISIBLE for $50 dollars and I like it. The speeds are outstanding inside Las Vegas strip since I get a good 37mbps when big crowds are present, enough for 1080p. Around the strip and outskirts of the city i get consistent 70-140mbps. I'm also trying BOOST INFINITE for $25 and my S23 Ultra got 100-400mbps in all same places. But it does change from 5G to 4G LTE often, not consistent. I stayed with visible because consistency, I go to outdoor ranges off road in some parts of the dessert which Visible often worked well for text and call with 2.67-8.6 mbps while Boost LTE kicks in at 1.64-4.7mbps and the service drops often. Visible, Very consistent service but slower speeds below 140mbps. Boost Infinite, Very fast speeds, not consistent service.

After having MetroPCS, T-Mobile, Virgin Mobile, Verizon, Mint, and AT&T, I like Visible the best. $25 for unlimited everything. I don't travel and if I did I would fanagle a plan. I know it's throttled and deprioritized, but it seems like the cheapest solution for me as I use a lot of data, probably between 35-60 gigs a month.

I went from Straight Talks $55 Unlimited plan using the Verizon network to Visible’s $45 a month plan. Visible gave me $15 off my bill a every month for the first year and the high speed data cap is higher than straight talks and is faster in comparison as it’s not deprioritize like straight talk is. In short I’m paying $30 a month for far better data speeds. I’m very happy. Also, straight talks Verizon coverage did not include 5G ultra wide. Visible does and I get 5Guw everywhere. It’s been wonderful.

I have used Mint and Visible. Never really had any issues and havent really noticed any difference between speed or usage. Just had some issues with Visible that needed to be resolved via text support with Visible which can be super trying. Still cant make international calls after multiple text support sessions with Isible customer support. Previously had Mint Mobile and paid for a year of 15GB service catch was that when I realized it wasnt enough data and wanted to upgrade my plan they said I had to just purchase a whole entire new annual plan, I was not able just to upgrade my current plan which was super annoying. So I was running out of data every month and getting throttled and then having to buy more data.

I switched to Mint Mobile's unlimited plan 3 months ago. I had TMobile before but decided to try out Mint after your videos! The first month, it was great! But around the second month I noticed I would get weird "dead zones" (like inside a grocery store) when I didn't with TMobile before. Sure, maybe I didn't notice since I don't go shopping at that particular grocery store very often but regardless of that, I noticed it would also happen in areas of construction. Normal construction lol not working on power/phone lines and that DEFINITELY didn't happen on TMobile 🤷🏾‍♀️ data speed is good for the most part, haven't really had issues with that but I don't like those random dead zones! The thing with going with small carriers that people need to be aware of is dropped coverage, and it happens a lot. As an example, if you have service with Metro you're using T-Mobile's network. If that network is getting congested and bandwidth needs to be freed up to keep the data flowing, who is getting their connection dropped? If you guested you on Metro as opposed to the T-Mobile customer, you would be correct. All the major carriers do it the same way, which is fair since their primary customers using their networks are paying more in general.

I’m currently on T-Mobile and I know that I use between 45 and 50 gigs a month but considering I have two major bills, one of which I won’t have anymore after I paid off in the other, I’m just trying to pay off so I’m back above par, I’ve already paid off the last three of my six month period for my car insurance so I have three months of a little money back to me, and much like my Xbox live membership, I would consider much like that, only paying every month for this, but I was thinking about jumping on Mobile and trying out their service for three months so I only had a bill every every month to pay my live membership, but considering I tend to use between 40 and 50 gigs, they’re unlimited plan is only 40 gigs so I completely understand if my service is a tad bit slower after the 40 GB mark, but considering I’m choosing the 40 gig, three month plan, I read your comment on using them and you feel like there’s no issues and no major difference? So do you think I would probably have just as much if not in nearly as positive response to it as you if I was to try them? I’m thinking about trying them out as of tomorrow, hoping that it gives me a bill the first of each month, because that’s also when my Xbox live payment is due, it would be between January and June, it would be the second month in however, long the bill goes that I would owe nearly $30 for my every third month bill of Xbox live so if I ended up owing that next month and April starting tomorrow, I’d be able to do the same with Mobile and have both of those bills strategically placed along the same route at the same time so I knew where my bills laid. I do apologize if that was a lot, I have ADD so I can tend to talk quite a bit, but I don’t talk 1,000,000 mph, I just like to clear my head of thoughts and I try to think ahead hoping that if I give enough information from my end that helps the other person understand where I’m coming from, I might get as a response as possible. 🙂

I live in the Houston, Texas area. I had cricket and nothing was wrong with my service I just didn’t want to pay the $65 in person or $60 online so I switched to Boost Mobile and honestly for me it sucked cause they didn’t have unlimited data and the service started to slow down BADLY so I am looking for another server. Do any of you guys have opinions on your phone service?! If so I would love to hear them.

Thank you for the video. What is the feature about video quality you are talking about ? 4k streaming, 480p s streaming etc? Does it mean I can't watch a video in higher quality than 480p with specific plan ? I have the right to use my limited data I have the way I want no ? Of course watching 4k KZbin video will use more data than 480p but I can organize my consumption the way I want no ? Thank you for the help

I’ve been out with my AT&T contract and paid my phone and now I’m looking for a much cheaper option (prepaid). I’m currently paying $80 a month but the coverage from AT&T is not that good compared to when I was with Verizon. I wanna use my own phone but if there’s a good deal to get a new phone then maybe I can get a contract. I don’t need a lot of data but unlimited is not bad. Also I travel 3x a year internationally so which one is the best for me?

ATT Prepaid has 16GB with rollover data for the same price. Boost has a 15GB plan for $20 ($5 less per month) I'm on the Mint 15GB plan but my contract is up next month. Still trying to decide which I want, but Boost is looking good. I think Mint needs to update their plan pricing to stay competitive.

Some item I do not see discussed. If you want to use LTE network extender for verizon, you must have a account on a verizon post paid account. Other phones will work on it as long as it is activated. I live right between 2 towers with over a -100db 1 bar signal even with a Booster 30 feet in the air above my house. With the whole VoLTE/wifi call fiasco with samsung phones, been a issue and learned I couldn't use my LTE network extender when I moved to Visible.

Question! I have a friend of mine switch from T-Mobile to Xfinity around Christmas 2022. She’s having a problem with the service, where she cannot receive any pictures via text messages from an android phones. She has talk to someone at Xfinity tier 3 5 times, and also talk to an senior advisor from apple 4 times. After three months later still no change. Everyone keeps telling her that it’s a carrier problem, and know one can fix the problem. She has tried to get the iPhone 14 Pro swapped out from Xfinity and Apple, we really think it’s a device problem; and not a carrier problem. But know have given her an option to have the device swapped out. My question to you is what would you do if you were in her situation. Thank in Advance

Recently, I took advantage of Mint's "get 6 months of free service when buying 6 months of paid plus a cell phone" deal. Got a Pixel 7 for $199. However, it has been a nightmare getting my former landline from the 1990s with Verizon and then moved about 10 years ago to a VoIP company. Constantly bombs out. The company with the line said that the Mint reps keep putting in bad information which kills the port attempt. On the current try, I am now at 12 days without a port failure message. However, when I asked Mint where things were, I was first told the port had failed (I got no e-mail from them like before). Then, after I asked why I did not get e-mail, the rep looked further into the system and now says it shows a port due date of May 30! Huh? Anyway, have any of you experienced this?

I think the magenta Max one is the worst plan on this list if you ask me..Especially considering T-Mobile doesn’t have very good service for a lot of areas and has the worst network out of the big 3. $85 for what you can get for 35 or 50 with another carrier. And 4K video streaming? You can just change your settings on any app to play videos in 4K on any plan. For instance Straight Talk says you can only play videos in 480P but I can actually play them in 4K by just changing some settings.

I worked in a T-Mobile corporate call center from March ‘18-March ‘22….. Let’s just say.. there were such major breaches that people were being given free credit protection for a minimum of five years. Remember how T-Mobile had that “Netflix on us” with two lines or more? Part of it was due to due to people using their same T-Mobile log in credentials to sign up for their new Netflix accounts, as you had to do it via the T-MOBILE app or website. Other aspects, I can’t exactly talk about because of the NDA’s I was required to sign. These are some of the main reasons I quit that piece of shit company.

Yep! You can buy what’s called a “unlocked” iPhone from Apple. This means the iPhone isn’t tied to any carrier or contract and can be used with any plan you want. So you’d be all set to get an iPhone 14 Pro MAX and use it with AT&T Prepaid or any other carrier.
