I mean I get that it's a family issue, but Frank literally smashed Ian's nose in front of the whole family and Jimmy/Steve stood up for him. Fiona had no reason to yell or get mad at Steve when he was just trying to help. Little did Fiona know Jimmy was gonna be the one that pretty much saved Monica later on because he took charge when she was bleeding in the kitchen.

Well in all fairness, they didn't know he was even in the hospital. The last place he was seen was at the house OD'ed. He gets up and leaves. Nobody even knew he was in the hospital. Maybe Liam had a hunch as he looked at the empty seat "ghost" Frank was at. But the ending I dont think anyone knew Frank had passed yet.

​@@air1986 I mean, to be fair, they all thought he had died multiple times throughout the show snd didnt give a crap. Like that one time they all threw him into a lake because he ruined Fiona's wedding. Or the episode before the final one where Liam tells Lip and another person that Frank is gone, which they misunderstand that as him dying, and all I remember is Lip chuckling and saying "Holy shit, he's dead?" I think in all honesty, the family STILL had some love for him somewhere in their hearts. Both Debbie and Carl where too young to see how truly horrible their father was, Fiona cried thinking the body the police found in the garbage was him, and here in this clip vid, Lip trues to comfort him by saying everyone laughed and smiled as soon as thry found out he was okay. In later seasons, it's understandable why they all lost that little bit of love they had for him, seeing him just fucking up everytime.

They also know him enough to know the kind of things he does and how he pisses other people off.I am glad this episode includes scenes where others either turn frank down or kick him out of their homes when he attempts to crash at their places. It goes to show that franks friends know everything they need to know about him, pretty much like his own family but they are the ones that put up with him

You may know or not know what bad or questionable things he did to others (He didnt do anything in this particular case. It was one of those times he was innocent) but you can be sure about one thing. He usually deserves it. His children know that and that s why they are used to seeing him like that

Lip wanted Ian to get oral sex from Karen which happened, but as you, me and everybody else knows that Ian is gay. Something then dropped from the table which caused Karen's father Eddie to look underneath it and he caught Karen sucking off Ian which caused Eddie to flip out and chase Ian and Lip. Eddie then saw Frank and accused him obviously and punched Frank in the nose or he headbutt him in the nose when Frank didn't even know what the hell happened. I mean he had no idea whatsoever. Then Frank comes home, does the same thing to Ian, then everybody else goes off on Frank except for Lip because just by him standing there and doing nothing, Lip knew he was the reason Frank got assaulted by Eddie and that Ian got assaulted by Frank. So in this case, Frank isn't the bad guy here

Poor Ian... you can see the second he knows he's in trouble as he starts to back away and how he starts sounding afraid. Given that he pushes Ian around in another season, this is definitely not a new occurrence. As much as I like her, Fiona was in the wrong for yelling at Steve to get out. He was just trying to help - I know this was like a family thing but Frank just bashed his kid's nose for no reason. She should've just let Steve take care of him, focus on helping her little brother instead of worrying about Frank. Maybe she just didn't want the situation to get uglier and more physical? Either way, didn't love that.
