I don't know about under-rated but definitely the most respected and skilled in all of old school death metal. Today's modern metal drummers couldn't hold a candle to the FEEL Steve possesses

Underrated...? Man, he simply never was an modern internet clown who puts out videos on KZbin with trigged+eddited+corrected+mixed drums/playing for a glory boost. Like the half of all these sorry asses out there, who can't even play an "unplugged" real drumset even close to the effect presented in the videos. Also, IF the word "underrated" would have any aplyement here, it would be with the Millenials'. Every older death metal fanatic knows Steve and great he is.
