So crazy they worked together and got their start on The Daily Show as side gag characters under Jon Stewart and now they're both way bigger than he is. No hate on Jon, it's just weird seeing this interaction knowing where they came from

His name is Stephen, not Jimmy. Is it really that bad that he says delulu and rizz? He probably just learnt it from his kids
@lordobvious8458Ай бұрын
Yeah, no thanks. Let’s get real about this. In today’s world of TV writing, you can already predict where this reboot is heading. The boss? Definitely a woman-because, you know, female empowerment. Jim and Pam’s relationship? That’ll be labeled “toxic,” so they’ll flip the script. Pam will become the girlboss teaching Roy a lesson by hooking up with the new “hapless, feminized” Jim Halpert to assert her dominance. And, of course, she’ll end up as Regional Manager, because why not? Now let’s talk about Dwight. In the original UK version of The Office, Gareth Keenan-the character Dwight is based on-was intentionally written to be oblivious and cringey. It was a deliberate choice, meant to fit the dry, awkward humor of that show. But here’s the difference: this reboot will use that as an excuse to reduce Dwight into nothing more than a caricature. They’ll claim, “Oh, we’re just staying true to the UK version,” but we’ll see through it. It won’t be about honoring the original-it’ll be about misandry. Dwight will be rewritten as a laughable “incel” who doesn’t know how to talk to women, completely ignoring the depth of his character in the U.S. version. Forget his skills in security or his encyclopedic knowledge; now he’ll just be the guy who thinks he’s competent but constantly gets shown up by the women in the office. They’ll strip away everything redeeming about him, using the UK version as cover for their agenda. Mark my words: this is what’s coming. Let’s grab some popcorn and watch it go down in flames, just like every other “woke” project that’s tanked over the last decade.
