Steve Clarke press conference ahead of Hungary showdown

Steve Clarke insists Scotland will not make the mistakes which sent them home from the last Euros early.
The national boss will lead his side into battle against Hungary here in Stuttgart tonight knowing three Group A points will be enough to book a place in the knock-out stages - three years after failing to make the cut in the last European Championships.
That final defeat at home to Croatia has left Clarke and his players licking their wounds ever since and determined to make amends in Germany by becoming the first Scotland side in history to get out of the group stages in a major finals.

Mental side of the game is important much so , if players all win this part then the Scotland team shall win tonight . But if not then we shall lose . Much of a factor is within the mental side of the game And McGinn has to keep his lid in check after the song bout him , has the song went to his head we soon shall see as in the other two games he brought nothing . Hopefully he clicks tonight as is a good player .

It is still possible for us to qualify for the last 16 with a draw tonight. Should both Spain and Italy win their final group games, Albania and Croatia would both finish on 1 point. Were England to beat Slovenia by 4 or more goals, and Denmark beat Serbia, then Slovenia would finish on 2 points in 3rd place, with a -4 goal difference, Serbia would be out, on 1 point. Then, if both Portugal and Turkey win their final group games, then Czechia and Georgia would both finish on 1 point. This would then mean that Scotland would qualify with 2 points, along with Slovenia.

No chance engerlund shall beat any team by that amount goals , you seen them in their last two games were very fortunate to have won by a solitary goal v Serbia and very fortunate to gain a 1/1 draw v Denmark . Is no way if we draw shall qualify through group .. 2 point is not enough .. have to win this game v Hungary or out .
