It’s an over hyped and misunderstood topic. The power and hardware requirements alone are enough to make it burst, let alone all of the technical limitations these so called AIs have. They’re not as intelligent as it seems. They possess no problem solving skills to speak of and even with existing and already solved problems, they tend to produce unreliable and problematic solutions. When you can ask GPT the same question 10 times and you get a different response every time including hallucinations, you know it’s over hyped chat bots that are very very good at predicting text.

Did you know we produce energy cheaper today than 20 years ago, but yet the fiat monetary system will have you believe it cost more today? 🤔 Do you feel foolish?

This is something FAR bigger than what happened in the 90s. And it is not a bubble, it's the technological singularity. Our whole economy will soon be forced to change, in ways you'd probably think make no sense, right now.
@Greyalien587Ай бұрын
Yup. When I talk to my friends about it they are like “ yeah yeah in 15 years”, they don’t understand exponential growth. I got sacked from my previous job ( which company is partners with OpenAI and is implementing more and more Ai) now my new job is as a data language annotator, helping AI understand humans better. This will go fast
@MementoMori_2070Ай бұрын
Times are changing. Technology is getting better and more sophisticated. But what if your intuition is wrong. And what if this EXP growth takes 15 years ?
@NikoKunАй бұрын
@@MementoMori_2070 So what if it does? That still means we must change how we do things, and the outcomes will still be better if we prepare sooner, rather than later.

No, AI is not replacing humans just yet. For her to say that companies are laying off because of AI is incorrect and unsupportive.

AI is the best pretender we have ever built, its all hype to drive up stock valuations of companies that have nothing to show. Some of the fake AI is now being exposed, AI now means Associates in India at least for Amazon. Its a huge amount of hype, AI apps will increase productivity so much, but most of it will be utter garbage. Just watch some YT content made by AI hipsters, it is full of monotone voices often recognizable and unpaid, the CGI graphics is full of saturated colors, far too much blue and metallic like in future SciFi scenes. The frames that make the graphic content such as A Robot are loughable and repetetive. A PCB is just a junk collection of vintage radio set components. The same frames are being regenerated into every AI video. It is beyond silly seeing the exact same Robot faces. How about 20 Robots typing away on their keyboards, pay attention, those delicate Robot fingers are typing the exact same key strokes on all the same keyboards and all have the same stupid grin on their metal faces. The sooner we all get past this nonsense, the better, some of the AI will stick around and be helpful, but most of it is trash. Take coding as a career, we are told now AI can code amazingly well, it can't do any such thing, it can barely complete basic interview program tests because it does not understand the questions being posed. if it does complete tasks it is doing so by having vastly better search capability to find answers from Reddit or StackOverFlow where the original answer likely came from some poor Associate student in India again. If I suddenly could speak perfect Russian and play piano, would I automatically be qualified to create at the level of Tchaikovsky , of course not but we assume AI could do just that. AI is very good at pretending to be smart almost comically so, see all the Trump AI videos, hilarious for a while but not real

So AI is all hype and no substance
@roccociccone597Ай бұрын
@@MementoMori_2070 current “AI” is not very intelligent. It can’t solve novel problems. Beyond this limitation it is incredibly unreliable. It has barely any consistency to it and likes to hallucinate (make stuff up on the spot). So no this ai future everyone keeps fear mongering about is very, very far away if you also consider the price to maintain not just the software aspect but also the hardware and the power requirements.

AI is a deeply structural shift inside the economy. Markets may over value and correct, but it is clear that industries/companies that leverage AI will show strong lower left to upper right performances in equity value relative to peers.
