Steve Ferrone is one of the finest drummers that most people have never heard of but his career spans back to the late '70's. And NO youngsters Steve is NOT using a double bass pedal on this, his right foot is good enough to NOT need one. Eat your heart out kiddies, this is what REAL drumming talent is all about

+Steve Hammond I live in Brighton in the same apartment block that Steve grew up in, he's a great drummer and his career goes back to 1975 but he was playing way back in 1962 when he opened a show for the Who! How many 12yr old kids can boast that?! Steve is the most down to earth person I know, a great guy and a great drummer! :)

Steve Hammond, do you hate young drummers? Cause I know not all young drummers have soulless playing.

Late '70's? In '74 he did outstanding work in Brian Auger's Oblivion Express on their Live At The Whiskey albums (Vol 1 and Vol 2).

Steve Ferrone is a monster musician. I loved his playing from as far back as AWB. Great hand & foot combinations here in this solo. The man cooks the groove, and that's what a drummer in a band is all about!

this is one of my favorite songs ever....but that drum solo has got to be the best drum solo ever done by any man on the face of this planet, no one can even come close to what that man (steve) has just played..............................
@daleford96062 жыл бұрын
@Adrastos C spoken like a true fan, but let’s not be naive when talking about greatest drum solos ever. There is a list of living legends behind the kit who define modern drumming: Dennis Chambers, Steve Gadd, Vinnie Colaiuta, Billy Cobham etc… Taking nothing away from the great Steve Ferrone

It’s common in British English to put -t, instead of -ed, as in spelt, spoilt, wept, bent, etc.
