R.I.P. Tom... you'll sadly be missed. Only just half a year later and a massive heart attack took from us such a talented man who moved so many people over many years with his great songs. No to mention that he was a superb rhythm guitar player with a unique feel all his own. But I do like Steve's playing very much too.

I got chills watching this video as my very first drum kit was a Gretsch in the EXACT same colors and paint scheme. Except mine was from the 40's or 50's from what I was told. No vent hole in the toms, round badge (no hole), hoop clamp tom mount, hoop clamp bass drum spurs. Watching this unboxing makes we want to go back! I'd love to get a kit like this AGAIN but with the sizes I like 26, 13, 16, 18. Unfortunately, life is funny and the cost is out of reach... for now. ;) One day maybe again.

Anybody know what kind of wood those drums are? - (Maple - Mahogany - ?) What about the snare ? It has the crisp, high-pitch of a metal snare ??? - Thanks in advance! - - I just did a little Googling and it looks like they are Maple and interestingly the snare is brass (This assumes that this is a Gretch BroadKaster set - ??)
