I've been listening to Steeve Green's music of the Bible since I was about ten years old and have been in and out of many ultra conservative Baptist churches that taught it was sin to listen to his music!! Thankfully I have Godly parents who told these church leaders to find one wrong statement in ANY of his songs and they would speak to me! I even Xeroxed copies of the Steeve Green songbooks I owned at the time and told those church leaders to look through the words of those songs that Mr. Green signs at find something unbiblical and the circle it and then return them to me, which they didn't, but that's fine, There was reasoning behind me only giving them copies of the songbooks I owned! I knew they couldn't be trusted, so I was care what not to do! I love Steeve Green's music even though I can't sing it well anymore! About ten years ago, I had a stroke, since that time I've not been able to sing well enough to even hold out a descent sounding note! I've been through speech therapy and they couldn't get my sing voice back! I just keep praying that the Lord would let me sing again someday before I go home to heaven where I know he can heal my singing voice!
