I saw the original Lamb tour with Pete in '75. It was surreal. Many years later i'm standing in line at a McDonalds when over the speakers i hear "The Carpet Crawlers" remake with both Pete and Phil singing. It too was surreal.

A rather tired and pedestrian start to a massively iconic album but once Steve kicks in with that awesome Fly solo, all ears are perked up and soaking in greedily. 22:31 The Chamber of 32 Doors: "I need someone to believe in, someone to trust ..." Still as amazingly powerful a climax as it was for the entire original album: The Lamb's equivalent to Supper's Ready apex: "Can't you feel our souls ignite? Shedding ever-changing colours In the darkness of the fading night Like the river joins the ocean As the germ in a seed grows We have finally been freed to get back home There's an angel standing in the sun And he's crying with a loud voice 'This is the supper of the mighty one' Lord of Lords, King of Kings Has returned to lead his children home To take them to the new Jerusalem" Enjoy!

Nad is a little subdued or it's just an impression ? (Ok I know he's 65...)

Nads vocals are terrible on here totally wrong pitch

Yes the clock is ticking for everybody and if you are singer the tick is even louder, I think it's time for Steve to find a new singer. Nad did very very well so far anyway.

Yes, it's a bit pitchy, but he's the same age as me
