I love Steve in Stranger Things. I'm re-watching both seasons before Season 3 comes out, and it was so weird to see Jonathan holding that bat before Steve met it.

What I love about the Spiked bat is that it is probably gifted from Jonathan to Steve after the demogorgon fight. Their relationship is extremely ambiguous in the show but the fact that he allowed Steve to keep the bat tells us a bit about the probable mutual respect they got for each other after the events of season 1. (Bonus: During the Halloween party, when Steve bumps into Jonathan before leaving. I'd like to think that he is subtly asking for Jonathan to keep on eye on Nancy)

Gotta agree there. Negan's got all the factors. Height advantage, strength, greater reach. Plus Lucille has durability, greater reach. Then there's just overall experience. Sure it doesn't take a lot of skill to pick up a bat and swing, but to do it right, you gotta have an aggro personality and a love of carnage. And Negan is all that wrapped in a leather package. No disrespect to Steve but I gotta give it to Negan.
