That goes beyond just hurt feelings, it was indeed very embarrassing for her and in front of an audience of millions no less too. I think if I had been her at that moment, I would have died from humiliation. Of course, hindsight is 20/20, but that doesn't change what it must have felt like for her in that very moment.

I don’t really like Steve’s humor but he was raised right. Hardly anyone these days can take responsibility like that. I have Colombian friends. They are a very proud people and they love their country, even emigrants. They are also very warm and friendly. It's going to take some time to get over the anger but they will. Colombia isn't nearly as bad as the western press makes it out to be.
