There was CG it was only aquirable with a high enough budget. Jackie at that time didn't have a Hollywood level budget so he just did what he had to do, often times filming the same grueling action shots multiple times for perfection which was one of the bonuses of filming in Hong Kong instead of the States

Thats....untrue. Jackie just do the stunt to the extreme and do the stunt himself. Thus the broken bones. Other actors get stuntmen to do it. That being said, its all as captured on camera. A car flipping? Explosion? Bike jump over moving car? Its all as captured by camera, albeit in controlled situation. Watch alien 1. Watch the alien burst through the chest. Theres no cgi there, but pure practical effect.

That would be Cassandra Cain, well Batgirl. No idea if WB/DC is willing to do the bat-family yet though many are hoping for it. But for action movies, Hollywood isn't great at them mostly. Jackie rehearsed the fights over and over and over which is expensive and time consuming. Though I suppose with the right stunt actors and maybe some of the cg effects they have these days they might be able to pull it off efficiently enough. If you actually watch the Nolan Batman movies' fight scenes they're not great. Hell the BvS warehouse scene is meh compared to Jackie's fights, jump cuts every few seconds, and for some reason a cgi'd blood smear for the blu-ray to make it edgier, they forget to add it in a later jump cut.
