I stayed with Steve in 88 and 89 at a mutual friends home outside of Douglas, he was an ace bloke, quite reserved. I've photographs with Steve and held his Trophies for the wins and fastest man which at that time was the 125mph 'barrier', he took a large gouge out of a helmet on a stone wall one of those years and it didn't phase him, just another bloke with balls which wouldn't fit in a wheelbarrow.

An amazing selection of incredible motorbikes. Unfortunately I never had the privilege of seeing Hizzy in action, so this is a fantastic sight, and a fitting tribute to an absolute legend.

There are many stories of him donating kit to less fortunate riders etc.
