More than 20 years since the premiere of “The Crocodile Hunter” on Animal Planet, his family is honoring the late Steve Irwin in a new series. His wife Terri and children Bindi and Robert join TODAY to talk about it: “I hope he’d be proud,” Terri Irwin says. And they’ve brought along some animal friends: a sloth, an alligator and a prehensile-tailed porcupine.

I loved Steve and can't believe it's been a decade since his death. His kids are amazing and he'd undoubtedly be proud them. A huge credit for that goes to Terry; she has been a single mother for most of their lives and did a great job raising them. They - Terry, Bindi and Robert (and even the boyfriend Chandler) - all seem like genuinely nice people.

Everybody loved Steve Irwin, he was the best. Seemed like the nicest guy ever too as well. Broke my heart and im sure lots and lots of hearts when steve died. I remember it was the last day of summer vacation, labor day weeekend and the news came on that evening saying Steve passed away. Very, very sad. We all miss steve so much still, glad his family is doing well.

Brenda Salmon me too. That was a terrible night when I heard the news. My son came in my room and said " Mom... I hate to tell you this but people on Xbox live are saying Steve Irwin died today." I said " No way!" So I turned on the news really quick and right away I saw a picture of Steve on the TV and I knew it was true! I cried for days. I still tear up when I see the Irwins. His passion for animals was incredible. The world isn't the same without Steve Irwin in it. Love from Texas.
