I respect you Ivan. Truely. For close to 2 years now I've learned from you, and more than strength or physical fitness, you teach philosophy. How to be a man. I don't have a dad in my life but I aspire to be like you. Thanks for being here for me, and others, even though it's not really for me.

Man thats a beautiful thing to read. Thank you for letting me know that. Really is uplifting for me. Just goes to show, when you send love and positivity into the world, love and positivity enters your life ten fold.

I generally think parasocial relationships with online "personalities" is a bad thing but Ivan, i have been following you since 2020 when I first started lifting at age 21. Your stream of consciousness videos always help ground me in reality. I came for the lifting but I've stayed for the philosophy and exploration of life. Im now 24 going on 25. I finished university a couple years ago, felt very lost in my place in the world, felt I needed to achieve "more" to gain value in the world. Started a PhD a year ago and initially found the expectation very overwhelming as I felt like I was defined by my achievements. Your videos really help me realise how small my probelms are in the greater picture. As ive been trying to reinforce that my value isnt defined by my academic achievements, ive been finding myself enjoying life more: engaging with the people i care about, and being a less up tight and anxious person. You made a really interesting point in a previous video about zooming out of your room and seeing how many other people exist in even the soace directly around you. In this modern world, eveyone is so wrapped up in their individual probelms and doing things like you are doing here simply escapes people's minds. Regadless of how low i feel, i know that im blessed. your videos help me remember that. I really try and take on board your messages about life. Thank you for being in this platform ivan.

Oh thank you for that man. its amazing for me to hear that. Its funny because we all are susceptible of that zooming in too much mindset where we blow up rather minor problems. Im constantly reminding myself that its ok man there is much worse out there. What i did for Steve is an attempt to not only help people in need but to remember that i am truly blessed to have a warm bed to go to every night. As i walked away from Steve all i could think about was, man he will be cold tonight. What a simple thought yet it must dominate his life. Incredible.

in addition to food, you can also give socks which I heard they are in need too, and you don't have to worry about the right size

Damn. We definitely fail as a society when people are let down like this. There is this automatic thinking, that someone's situation is his entire responsibility so if he ends up really badly he must be a bad person intrinsically. Getting past the immediate judgment takes effort. Thank you for doing this, you never know how much it helps someone to simply stop by and have a genuine convo. Acts of empathy are never lost.

Yeh i remember once thinking along those lines too. Its his fault for being an alcoholic. But! ... trauma.... mental health.... it can break anyone down. People eventually just want the pain to stop and thats where substance abuse enters their life. Its very sad.

Dude watching this video just increased my respect for you tenfold. It's the most honourble thing to touch the hearts of the vulnerable in our society. This dude fought on the battlefield for his nation but the state he's in is heartbreaking. It's really cool that you went ahead to buy fruits and have a chat with Steve. Keep rocking Ivan. Subbed and will support you on this 2nd channel too

My grandma had to join the British army when she was 14 and had to lie about her age, it struck a nerve to hear that Steve had to join when he was 15. It is such a young age to have to go to war. Thanks Ivan for the video and for your conversation with Steve
