"You cant connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backwards, so you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future, you have to trust in something, your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever, because believing that the dots will connect down the road will give you the confidence to follow your heart, even when it leads you off the well worn path, and that will make all the difference. "

Fantastic, his message is so similar to that of Alcoholics Anonymous - don't let others live rent free in your head, keep your side of the street clean and find yourself

"You cant connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backwards, so you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future..." to the end of that paragraph. Can anyone paraphrase or define what Steve Jobs meant when he said that? Did he mean following ones heart and trust that feeling, and everything automatically will come together to produce a magnificent product of ones unique talent, skills and passion?
@TheZeroStrikr10 жыл бұрын
I know this is late but what he basically means is that right now, even though it may not seem like it, but if you keep doing what you're doing, it'll lead you to the right place. It may not seem like it due to all the trials and tribulations you undergo, but when you get there and look back, it'll all make sense. You just have to trust now that it will happen.
