This is one of the best interviews I heard and I’ve heard lots of them. Very enjoyable. To the point.

Never be equalled the Pistols. The world is too sanitised. Had to add; Steve always plays down his talent on guitar but that man can hit them strings. That's how you play guitar hit the f##kin thing!!

Love Steve Jones. Always honest. That sounds like Don Letts too. Top bloke. I only caught it from 5 mins in.

Lovely Steve. Sorry to hear about your awful experience with your step-dad, I guess that explains life as a lonely boy. Will get the book soon. You always had a great sense of humour and made me laugh out loud on numerous occasions which is not an easy thing to do. Try to watch the weight , cholesterol and blood pressure. Well done on everything you have done in life.

who's doing the interview? is it don letts? he sounds like he was actually switched on at the time, instead of just 'false remembering' i.e. i wasn't anywhere near there, but i wish i was. good job anyway and steve being nice and honest

the diff between the fan and artist....the fan gets to play those tunes on there own time...the artist is an artist and wants to move on, create....but those tunes the artist played in their 20's ..they get fed up of being dragged back to em all the time ..for 25yrs they gonna resent that....its natural

i'm 45 now and remember holding on to my mummys hand down the high street and thinking "wtf is going on with them?", a year later I felt like a grown up hanging around while they sniffed glue and running errands for them to earn a 10p bag of chips! The world was just so much better then, the "alternative" scene in the 80's and then acid house and free festivals, indiedaze!! I was 21 at Glastonbury in 1992 thinking back how we'd come full circle back to hippie times. But what the hell is going on now? I'd like to get rid of the technology and cameras everywhere for starters...
