The many styles/shades of drumming are not mutually exclusive. A fine drummer is like a fine piano player or singer. I've slowed my rolls w/time; out of age (66 yo) or injury (carpal tunnel, back problems). Jazz; R & B; Rock, is all good. Buddy Rich, Billy Cobham, Jeff Porcaro, Steve Gadd, John Bonham, Bernard Purdie, Steve Smith, Sonny Emory, Michael Derosier, Stewart Copeland. Eric Moore!!
