The snare drum sounds like a pile of wet boxes... and I love it so much. Thank you.

The snare is perfection! Dry sparkle, deep but present, oh wee,,,,,I guess Steve Jordan's playing has a lot to do with it too!

One of the best interviews I've probably ever witnessed with any drummer.!!! Just incredible. Mr.jordan is one class act. What a humble individual, gives credit where credit is do.!!!

Man, thank you so much for posting this. I love Steve's playing with the Blues Brothers (which is where I first heard of him). His playing is simple, understated yet deep. Like MILES deep.

I studied "Let's Play Together" because it is so hypnotic and follows the path of the and-1 "heartbeat" type of 4/4 groove, exactly like the DunDun drum in many Djembe rhythms.

Steve Jordan what a guy. So honest, and the coolest dude out there. Who wears a leather jacket to play in. Yay. SJ.

When you make everything dead like that it disguises nothing. Single head toms, taped-up low snare. It looks like Steve brought 18" hats so even they have a low fundamental.

14:30 Steve Jordan says that the trends are changing fast today. I don't agree at all, we are stuck with this auto-tuned trap crap for years now it seems to me. And i am not bothered by the musical side of it aside from the fact it sounds robotic. I am bothered by the message it sends, that shallow and stupid is good...
