Great discussion! Astrology is an eye and door opener when we understand what’s going on in our chart. I believe we are here to evolve. Astrology is an empowering tool. There are always choices, once acknowledged. We are not victims unless we choose to be. With a Grand Fixed Cross, nicely balanced by Grand Water Trines in my natal, life has shown me that the challenges and changes are a necessary part of my destiny. They bring great rewards and empowerment. At birth, most of us are thrust into a system of rules, expectations, restrictions and responsibilities. If we have the courage to claim what is truly ours and reject the rest, we come closer and closer to our true selves. A worthwhile journey!

Regarding the natal chart being 'alive', can you do a video about natal charts of deceased individuals (high profile) where their charts continue to 'live', so to speak (Elvis, Nelson Mandela spring to mind). Love that opposition thing. My Pluto's in Leo in the 2nd opposite my Sun in the 8th. I like how Sun rules Leo and the Sun is in a house I see as ruled by Pluto.

That was a great description Steve!! So, what I heard you say was that at the end of the day, and underneath it all, it's all about the patterns of behavior/or the cyclical nature of life. Boom. Bottom line. Something about reverse engineering is screaming at me. So, We start at the cycle/pattern of behavior (planets), but then add layers of (zodiac/house) colorful flavors (ego). So Steve, you can look past any individuals ego and go straight to the pattern. The cycle of their soul?

I know someone with Mars and Venus conjunct as part of a Leo stellium of Sun, rising sign, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Pluto, and that stellium is square Saturn in Scorpio. Seems to have helped build inner strength and compassion, called on and put to use especially in their later years

Here's a question I've never seen addressed -can the north node act as the tip of the arrow in a Yod? I'd say not a planet, so...maybe I'm off the hook, but on the other hand, the north node is said to be quite potent and unforgiving if you try to ignore it. I'd love to hear thoughts/experience on this question. Great discussion here, as always -I always learn something and I LOVE that!

The Moon's Nodes, yes. Especially important in Both Western & Vedic Astrology. Especially important for those whose Sun Sign is ruled by the Moon. eg. Sun Cancer16 in 10th Hse (Libra7 Ascendant w/Neptune Libra10 🙄) ... thus the Nodal Axis is Taurus/Scorpio ( in My case 11Degrees AND 8th/2nd Houses 😱). HAS been STRESSFUL, But ultimately w/ satisfactory "lessons" ( "when learned" ... 11Th Hse is LEO w/ Moon11, PLUTO13, and SATURN 21 !🤔😉😅 ) over a 75 yr time span. Keep Calm & carry on.

My daughter has 9 quincunx’s, 3 yods. I’ve just checked and theres 3 quintiles with less that a 2degree orb. Her Saturn (cancer) quintile Sun (Libra) has a 0 degree orb. I’m now going to go on a quintile digging session

Thank you, Steve and Sue. I have the generational opposition between Saturn in Pisces and Uranus in Virgo, but it's in a T-square with my Mars in Gemini. Still working on that. I also have an exact quincunx between Neptune in Scorpio and Mercury in Gemini, both at 15 degrees. My Neptune is conjunct my AC by one degree. I sometimes have difficulty saying what I mean or explaining things.

I have a quintile yod in my chart, and another two quintiles and one bi-quintile. The way I see it is that those gifts will likely blossom later in life when I've mastered my Saturn, due to the planets involved and the fact that the quintiles themselves point towards a flowering maturity. I say "when I master my Saturn" because I have a yod (two planets quincunx to Saturn with a sextile) with Saturn as the apex planet. And he's the ruler of the descendant. I anticipate that life will be very peaceful, creative, stable and enjoyable from my mid-forties onwards. The quintiles include: - The quintile yod (Pluto biquintile moon, pluto biquintile chiron, chiron quintile moon) - Ascendant quintile the Midheaven (MC) - Ascendant quintile Venus (conjunct the MC) - South node quintile mercury

And happily settled! 😊 When I look at a chart, I see houses 1 to 6 as more of a person's internal world and 7 to 12 as more of the external ? More 7 to 12 aspects making more ambition in life?
