Because Steve was never full on in the spotlight, the public has no idea they're standing next to one of the most prolific guitarists that has ever existed, and was THE guitar on songs they absolutely love. I'd have recognized him mile away.

imho, Greg Phillinganes, on whom you zoom in at around 0:56 is quite a legend too! He played keys on #THRILLER for starters... also worked with Paul McCartney, Al Jarreau, Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Christina Aguilera, Richard Marx, Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, Lionel Richie, Ray Charles and, and and... many more.
