Here's a similar one we did. After the boring flight to Vancouver, it was a coach which went on the ferry to Vancouver Island, then back on the coach to Victoria BC. The driver actually asked what hotel we were staying at, and took us there. Up in the morning to get the float plane to Seattle for a family reunion. Pretty magic, coach and boats and planes.

@@chrissaltmarsh6777 haha I know the feeling! Another great video. I’ve done this route the other direction before but with Scottish Citylink where the coach doesn’t actually go on the ferry and you connect to a local bus at the Belfast end, meaning you have to transfer your bags. This service looks better. Great trip, as you say, especially on a nice day. I’m just home from Canada and last week I travelled on a very similar service from Vancouver to Victoria on the BC Ferry Connector, which is also a through coach/ferry/coach service using the same bus. A very relaxing way to travel. The driver from Vancouver was telling me he’s amazed more people don’t use it over there. I guess people really like their cars.

Hi Derek, yes, the fact that our coach goes with you the whole way is such an important part of our service and why so many people use it. We handle the check-in process as well so passengers don't have to worry about that either and can sit back and relax. 🚌🚢🚌☺

Yay! Steve pronounced the Glasgow bus station as Buck anan not Buch anan (Buchanan). That was my mom’s maiden name and they pronounced it Buck not Buch. I once asked my grandad why and he said it was the Scots way of pronouncing it. As an American of Scots heritage it’s nice to hear a Scotsman saying it that way. It’s a nice connection between Scotland and America.

Hi Steve...wow....so many " double decker" buses ! Both in Ireland, and Scotland. They are a bit of a rarity in Australia. I tend to see then only on Skybus routes. ( Skybus routes tend to connect larger airports with the closest CBD) Love all the seagulls perched on the bow of the ship . Did I see correctly that the drivers drive those trucks on one end of the ferry...and when they get to their destination, they drive off the other end ? Wow you know roughly how many trucks and buses it can hold ? I presume cars are on another deck.. I makes one realise just how big and tough these ferries really are ! Such lovely weather for you too .

@@steve-marsh I wonder would Belfast City Hall be happy for us to call it our official waiting room? 🤔😉 We are still trying to get access to the main bus station in Belfast similar to the access we get with SPT in Glasgow, Buchanan Bus Station. We will still be close to City Hall but maybe our coach won't have to circle it a couple of times before picking you up!!!🙂🙂🙂
