Working on your creativity is crucial. Thinking rationally and logically is important for certain things and is done therefore by many people, but thinking creatively is harder but therefore there are less people that do so, becoming this way a very important skill! Amazing video, I truly believe it will help people understand this topic more!

it takes roughly 10000 hours of practice (or around 10 years) to achieve mastery in a field. at least according to the book outliers

Life Progress - a community for introverts the big misconception is that doing something for 10,000 hours achieves mastery, but the key factor is Deliberate Practice-meaning you focus on trying to improve every single time and you analyze and critique your previous efforts to know where to sharpen. And this usually applies to complex tasks.

But the answer: Which kind of creativity? Are you saying to me that creativity comes from consistency?

Roy Kamsi Story creativity is such an expansive term that it’s too varied to be narrowed. Just like love, there are many forms but you know it when you have it. It’s an endless obsession to learn study and apply expression. One can learn technical and academic knowledge regarding creativity and one can take steps to allow for more creative thoughts, but without the curiosity with fuels the passion, it’s kind of a pointless journey. Creativity is about seeing not just doing. And separating craft from creativity is a much lengthier and confusing discussion, but the most creative people usually tend to acknowledge their ability to see things creatively while downplaying their own creativity. The least creative people tend to think they’re more creative than they actually are. The barometer comes down to intuition, subjectivity, cultural institutions which indoctrinate certain hierarchies of value and acceptability (which continually shift with the passing of time). You just have to feel it, be it, and live it.

@@djstarsign I understand the complexity of defining the term and I appreciate the analysis. The quote "Creativity is about seeing not just doing" could open more the meaning of it, but opens also the wide of looking at being creative. I think you may be right.
