definitely last FCS game to be aired during the middle of the season on a regular Saturday football schedule. Bayou Classic was still aired on NBC but that was more of an HBCU event.

I wonder how many markets this game went to. ABC had two huge games in the same time slot, Colorado @ Michigan (Hail Mary game) and Washington @ Miami. Also Arizona/Stanford and New Mexico/BYU.
