The true story was probably more droll - stopped for routine check - asked what coffins were for as little unusual, waved on. Terrorists are not noted for hauling around coffins for their victims. A good example of how little things are spun by comedians. Loved the piece but a bit overblown.

I would argue that one would have to be around 14 or 15 when something major happens for it to be committed to memory. In 1994, when I was nine, one of the presidential candidates for Mexico was assassinated in my hometown, but I didn't learn about it until much later in life.
