Of all the "This is my" guests, Martin is the absolute master of keeping a straight face. Didn't so much as twitch a fraction of a smile at any of the jokes.

Good god, the sharpness and speed of Lee’s wit is phenomenal. I would never have thought of that ‘tenpin’ gag in a million years!
@foresthill84626 ай бұрын
He is very witty and fast but in case you didn’t know, all panel shows are recorded over a much longer time (not “live” as you see it) including some re-do s etc that all get edited in to look like it was live
@PetroicaRodinogaster2646 ай бұрын
@@foresthill8462yes they are recorded and edited, but Lee is still fast. However, as I have seen him interviewed live and he was surprisingly not as fast as you would’ve expected. However, being witty and quick is only effective when you have an appreciative audience. I have been told I am quick witted but unfortunately many of the people I associate with have no sense of humour and things go over their head. Lee moves in circles where his humour is understood and appreciated and even expected. I think Rob is on par with Lee. In fact Rob cracks me up more.

Richard Osman has stated on his podcast that this programme is the only panel show not scripted and that Lee Mack is truly quick. He added that sometimes a beat or two needs to be added in with Lee because he is quick. In interviews et al Lee is not working and does not have David to play off of, so he can relax. If you plan on being pedantic when you grow up, get your facts straight @foresthill8462

Can you explain the tenpin joke? It's over my head.. maybe its a UK thing. Tenpin is just 10 pin bowling as opposed to 5 pin with the holes.. but it doesn't seem as interesting as everyone reacting to it.

I'm disappointed David didn't bring up the choice of words on Xand's card. Martin "lent" him some beard, with the implication being that he had to give it back.

I know it wasn't true, but I want to add to David's ghost rant. They should be in the most populous cities and never are, but also, why the hell would a ghost haunt a NEW car? An old car that the person died in or treasured when they were alive, etc, has some logic to it. It's still patently untrue, but at least there's an internal consistency to the story. But a new car? One that didn't even exist when the person was alive? Are they so upset by carbon emissions that they'd haunt a completely random vehicle?

Maybe the materials the car was made from were dug up from an ancient burial ground
