I know I have already left a comment but I am up watching Hallmark Christmas Countdown and started crying thinking about my grandfather who is a very special person in my life...At 63 years old he started raising me at age 8 along with my brother and sister. He did everything for me and brother and sister. My grandmother taught me how to decorate a Christmas Tree...at a young age.she also taught me how to wrap Christmas gifts. When you mentioned that you were teleported back to a time...where you put tinsel on the Christmas Tree...I did the same thing with my grandmother. My grandmother and grandfather, had an artificial Christmas tree so I was the one who put the Christmas tree branches in each slot according to color.and me and my grandmother would check the lights, and then I would follow my grandmother's guidance...Another memory I remember... my grandmother getting Christmas Cards that she had saved from other people...and having me tape them on the door and wall as Christmas decorations I was raised by my grandparents...my Mom and Dad got divorced when I was 9 years old...my mother couldn't take care of us because of mental health reasons...so my beautiful grandfather got me and my brother and sister out of a foster home and kept us all three kids together at age 63 years...when I think of Christmas Time my grandparents....the memories flow in..like leaving Milk and cookies for Santa....the night before...and we had a tradition of opening one present on Christmas Eve....and Oh in the days when it was safer I would go Christmas caroling with my church through the neighborhood and to people that needed to be lifted up....I remember egg nog too. I always enjoyed Christmas Time my beautiful grandparents...always took care of us kids...and made sure us grandkids had a wonderful Christmas Time....and would sometimes charge our Christmas gifts on a credit card because they didn't have much money....so they did the best they could....I started crying thinking of my grandfather...I miss and love him....he brought joy and love and compassion into my life and he was funny too. So my question is what special moments do you remember growing up about your grandparents during Christmas Time? Funny how when they pass on.... we remember things they said or taught us growing up...so thankful for my grandparents and also thankful for you....your my inspiration thank you Stephen for touching my heart and soul with your beautiful Angelica voice....you are a beautiful soul inside and out....God bless you from Angela... I write songs and poetry and create music I even created some Christmas Music for you to honor you...back in November 2019....So grateful for you....you have touched millions of lives....with your sweet spirit and your gifts and talents with us. Sorry..... I wrote so much but I just had to share memories of my grandparents....So. What precious moments do you remember growing up about your grandparents During the holidays?

My deepest and sincerest condolences to you and your family on the passing of your sister. I'm so sorry for you. I lost my brother in 1996 we were oh so close. He and I would go to every Journey concert when they came to my hometown. My brother had to help me sneak out because us girls wasn't allowed outside past a certain hour and then he had to help me climb off the roof of my house lol. My sisters bedrooms were on the second floor. Lol. Went back stage at Pine Knob was hoping to meet steve but nope just Neal Schon, Steve Smith, Ross Valory, and Johnathan Cain. Got all their signatures on a wine bottle from back stage too. Steve's is the only one missing on it. I thought KZbin blocked you and I from speaking lol. Well you have a very blessed evening. Your voice is magic. Absolutely beautiful. Almost hypnotic- it puts the listener in a lovely warm magical place. I think you preserved your own unique wonderful voice by retiring and not singing for so long. Your arrangements here are just lovely! You add so many magical touches! I think your amazing gift is that your voice goes right to the listener's heart. Because you are a kind warm sincere person that makes it a lovely experience. You could cover Cole Porter and Nat King Cole's songs so beautifully! Jazz - the 30's type smoky night club songs. You could tear those up!! A youtube channel called "Randy Lessley Music" has a recording of you singing "Summertime" with your band in a club in 1974 that proves my point! Don't wear yourself out touring for this new album! We aren't getting any younger! I'm 71 and I'm sure not! 😂.

My husband’s favorite singer! When we got married in October 2020 I surprised him with my best friend playing “When You Love a Woman” on the flute during the ceremony. Now we sing “When You Love a Baby” to our 2-month-old daughter. She already recognizes and loves his music. Thank you Steve for being part of some of our happiest moments. ❤️

My Granddaughter and I have been having Perry parties since she was about 7 months old. She is 5 now. We dance and sing along. We have worn out 3 dvd's of the Live in Houston Escape tour. I’m very happy today is the day!!!! Some may think I’m silly at 58 waiting on my teenage crush but if it’s this long and I still love to hear him sing well not only is he talented he made the exact impression on me of one in a million kind of guys around as he made he sweet smile and gorgeous eyes back in videos and interviews when he made traces. Some crushes like Steve Perry well I have to admit is the only one of my three major ones from youth …that have not changed. I saw journey everytime they came in concert in Los Angeles area , I remember sleeping outside the Inglewood forum by box office 2 days to get tickets in 1978 . It was worth it .
