My mom is the woman at 00:48 She absolutely loved Journey and the fact she made it into this video always made her so happy. She would talk about this moment all the time, especially when Journey would come on the radio. We ended up playing this song at her funeral in her memory when she passed away from cancer.

I remember as a teenager in Orlando Florida ...the Tampa station played the hell out of this song but from could only get that station when the weather was just right ...when I heard the intro the hair on my arms stood up and goose bumps appeared and I'd sing along ...I remember the dark room with only the light of stereo dial .... Clearly, the voice of a generation. This was the band who filled stadiums, nightly. If we got wind Steve was reuniting with Journey, you couldn't find a stadium large enough to hold the fans.

Sadly he wont say he was interviewed a few months ago the lady kept asking but he didnt say anything but he does have a new album coming out he wont say say when or if hes gonna go on tour by himself if he does i hope he will play some journey too and ive seen journey when arnie sings for them hes amazing but id give anything to see steve preform with journey in a concert i wasnt born till 92 so i wasnt lucky enough to see steve preform

Saw Journey live in early '83. (Warm-up was Bryan Adams). Enjoyed it but didn't think much about the fact that I actually witnessed one of the greatest vocal performers ever. I've told this to my daughter and her friends (all early 20's) and they were fascinated that I actually saw Journey with Steve Perry live!

I absolutely remember that tour! The Detroit shows were incendiary! All the Canadians showed up for Bryan so the whole concert was at max intensity from the very first minute, standing for the entire time. Damn it was GOOD to be young in the 80's!
