Now someone just needs to do a metal/djent riff over this to make a killer breakdown.

As a percussionist learning UE5 to bolster my audio implementation abilities, I super appreciate this demo! I wonder how this would work with something like Reich’s “Drumming” where the phase isn’t sudden and is a smooth shift over time eventually landing on a new cohesive pattern?

Sounds like it could be a great experiment/exercise to learn more about MetaSounds!

It feels like a euclidean rhythm generator, a cool effect!

For sure, you could probably make some great poly rhythms with multiple shifting Euclidean rhythm generators.

Just curious, does the looping flag matter if you already have a repeated trigger?
@DanReynoldsAudio2 жыл бұрын
For sure, my recording is only one bar long, so I need to loop it at least once since I'm only triggering it when I want to shift. That's why I adjusted it to 24/8 timing for the shift or rather 2 bars of 12/8 timing.
