Hi Steve is alone, he had preran to weapons perfectly. Hafu enters shortly after. He cautiously eyes her as they both clear each other in their minds. He heads back north and comes across Aipha above storage -- is he protecting something, a body perhaps? Still looking over his shoulder, he fumbles to find his keys as he heads into dropship but alas, Janet's body is strewn across the entrance, still and lifeless. Aipha did not follow him into dropship, so he takes a moment to inspect the body. Fond little memories of Janet wash over him, but he darts a glance and surveys the area to see if he was followed before looking down at the body. "Is this loss?", he ponders out loud. "Not a big one anyway!" He flourishes his keys and heads over to the panel, giving them a little twirl before inserting them. "Didn't lose them afterall, go Steve."

Ngl, I love the Time Lord's revive ability, but even if they get frustrated by it or end up thinking it's too strong, it's pretty cool with the revive ability turned off too. - pulling people or yourself back through doors (especially to escape someone) - pulling Imposters out of the vents - getting people caught w/ their Mimic/Morph/Swoop/Camo running out, etc
@AmongUsAcademy3 жыл бұрын
oh you can turn the revive ability off? I didn't realise that... yeah still would be fun with it off.
@tiago99773 жыл бұрын
@@AmongUsAcademy Yeah, it's one of the toggle settings. Revive during Rewind - On/Off Rewind Duration Rewind Cooldown Time Lord can use Vitals - On/Off. It can definitely still be fun and useful w/out the revive, it just depends whether they'd be willing to give it a chance tbh.

1:47 Tbf DumbDog could have just taken the same route after the rewind, and just try to catch the person in the area again. If anything the Time Lord should help there since when DumbDog passes them again their Mimic/Morph would be closer to running out and it should acc be easier to catch them.
@AmongUsAcademy3 жыл бұрын
but wouldn't the mimic/morph just run up towards asteroids, and no take the same route that way?
@tiago99773 жыл бұрын
@@AmongUsAcademy Possibly, but there are plenty of possibilities for that situation: - they may not have thought about taking a different route - they might have left a body up there and would still try to avoid being seen near it - they might not realise that they were about to get caught - they might have run into somebody else IN O2/ Weapons that would catch them as the disguise wore off, etc. I've acc seen plenty of examples from ZeRoyalViking's lobbies where Time Lord has caught Swoopers/Morphlings/Glitchs/Camouflagers like that tbh.

Trying out some different editing styles here. For example, instead of having picture in picture, doing the solo POV then the replay (instead of simultaneously) For Example - 8:08 is Steve's POV interrupting DD's upload - 8:27 is DumbDog's POV of his upload being interrupted Do you like that, or having the dumbdog POV minimised in the top right corner?

@weshansen78923 жыл бұрын
@@AmongUsAcademy no worries. It's not really about Steve winning or not, it's the fact the the POV lost. You gets invested in the view you're watching and want them to win, so it sucks when they lose. If it were the pov of jester, it definitely wouldn't feel disappointing at all. I don't know why but Ellum looks like he is trying really hard to fit in the group. Even after all those months of playing with that lobby it seems like he is an outsider. Like really awkward. Don't really know how to explain it but he reminds me of one of my best friends. He too struggled and pushed too hard to fit in with the group. Awkward laughs, awkward jokes that just get brushed aside by others, being the one to mostly always deafen last (that's not what my friend did but it reminds of wanting to be part of the group and not miss out on ANYTHING that might happen without him being there ). He is funny and entertaining sometimes but he mostly makes me feel uneasy during meetings.
@AmongUsAcademy3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for putting your thoughts down. I actually don’t think he’s the “most outsider” in the interactions... there’s a few others who seem a bit more awkward. But you have to remember the much longer time and stronger chemistry the core have so it’s a high bar to compare with too! And for the record, I think Ellums chemistry with the group is really good... eg watch the Bobblynushniff saga

@@AmongUsAcademy Isn't that the point of the roles, though? Like some roles exist solely to clear people. Or better yet, others can be claimed and lied about. "Look at me, I'm the Engineer, I'm venting in front of you but I'm not bad!" "I'm the Sheriff, that person I killed was bad!" And then you can have a discussion about whether that's true or not.
@nirmalamangsatabam32383 жыл бұрын
It takes fun away from the imposter because once a role is revealed, it's more about proving a crew innocent. That becomes easy. Hiding roles makes it mysterious and allow more room for big brain plays. It's their game, they make the rules. Don't watch it if you don't like it. Lying isn't that easy. If an imposter lie about a special role, it will be easy to catch him. That's why most imposters lie about being plain crewmate, unless they know they killed someone whose role they can steal.
