CJ stroud did not need to set his feet, he should be elite enough to throw on the run and hit the man in stride....

Nobody will say CJ got fooled and thought he had a layup. I don’t think the Lions have shown this coverage on film this season. I am happy that Steve pointed out the Lions being intentional and highlighting the communication on the backend. Steve is the first analyst I’ve seen catch Terrion pointing to the vertical.

How would he have been fooled? Tank was WIDE open. Lions didn’t do a good job of defending, and got lucky the ball was under thrown. Good job on Jospeh for getting there in time to intercept, but Branch was not needed to go after the crossing route, that was already going straight to the corner who passed off Tank. That would have been Branch’s fault if it was a TD.

This point blank period a bad throw, Steve. I get Tank high pointing the ball or making an effort, but the the route was wide and the throw needed to be lead to him. No way his momentum even let him go up to even get that. It’s okay for it to be a bad throw. CJ will clean it up fasho 💪🏼 them bulls gon lead us to a some 🏆

Everytime I see this throw, it pisses me off more and more. Stroud never misses these and it’s the reason they lost this game. Also Steve cannot be serious about Tank high pointing that ball😂

@jamesclancy503 thats the job of a WR are you telling me tank cant or when you played in the league they coached you too do what ? just a question for you to answer i wait.........? thx for watching

@ Carlton Davis is 6’1” 203 lbs. Tank Dell is 5’10” 165 lbs. He’s not high pointing that ball without getting smoked. Want to talk about how pros avoid dumb coaching advice? TY Hilton and Tyler Lockett are notorious for going down before getting hit. They were probably coached at some point to lower the shoulder and get as many yards as they could. But they knew if they did that in the NFL, they’d be joining AB on CTESPN. Been a fun watch!

@jamesclancy503 again ur talking about what you see and hear from the tv I'm telling you high p pointing the ball is based on your vertical the example you're giving isn't applicable to this play the example you used is not correct. The CTE comment keep that "BS" yourself

@@jamesclancy503 he said the ball thrown could’ve been better but if you watch great receivers regardless of size they attack the ball, not saying tank would caught it but just contesting the ball could’ve made the outcome different.
@jamesclancy5036 күн бұрын
@ don’t think anyone is disagreeing on the ball needing to be better. As far as effort, I could see why Tank needed to get up there and at least tip the ball down. But there was no chance he was winning that contested catch. All of the great receivers that were his height in the past, including Steve, were at least 20 lbs heavier than he is
