Thanks for the review. I am thinking about picking one of these up to play around with. They currently have them for $129 from one supplier. I figure the anvils are worth that even if I had to completely build a new frame. But I think I would just try and do like you did and get by shimming it up true.

Right on. It’s worked for what I needed it for a little flimsy but worth the cost.

Thanks for the review. Three years later they are $99 and still selling. Are you using yours or did it go to the scrap pile?

Only change I did was rotate the brackets for the rollers. They come set up basically right and left, but it is SO weak that way. So I turned the brackets in and out, using the strength of the frame, but this does limit you to a short piece. But that's most of what I do anyhow.

Just bought this, because I am tired of using the shrinker/stretcher at my facility. Since it's a federal facility, it's a pain to order any tools or machinery because you have to do a letter of justification for purchase. I'll fabricate some hat bushings to let it track and grease them, and I'll rivet some teflon spacer pads inside that square assembly to let it all ride evenly. As for the roller pins, luckily we have tons of round stock I can make pins with a closer tolerance on the lathe. I guess I'll just fix China's disaster 😆 To me, it looks better than spending double on the crappy grizzly product. As for the roller wheels, I'll be shadowing them in a cabinet since this is an Aviation Facility

I appreciate your review; but, you mad bro? What do you expect for $150.00 from China (when Amazon and Temu sell em' for $99.00 in today's economy even after you read other users reviews before buying one for yourself). China has children making these things 22 hours a day for pennies. Or I guess you can just buy a real English Wheel for hundreds or thousands more if you need precision or a production tool, right? Your explanation seems to be exactly why China makes these things for the people who buy em'. So, "catch planes not feelings", just say'in.
