HUNTR is the project we should have started years ago. It's our excuse to work less and hunt more. We're not the world's greatest hunters by any means but we're not afraid to get aggressive and learn from our mistakes. From northeastern whitetails to western muleys, we're dreaming up hunts, putting in for tags, finding ground, and doing everything in our power to get it done.
Podcasts drop Tuesday nights, season 1 drops fall 2021, & there's merch in the store if you dig our stuff!
We want to hear from you! Whether you've got a story to share, a question for the guys, or want to tell us what we're doing wrong, it's all good.

Good interview. What steve is talking about with the end hour thermal pulling down is an important set up topic for the last hour on a corridor. We get them coming down in that last hour of mountains in NH at 2000-4000 feet and often the wind switches from S.W. or N.W. to a N.E. wind in the last hour. So a lot of times you are really up there high on a hill to get a look at last light. The bucks will often come down quartering away from the wind. I've also seen big deer go bed off a mountain into the N.W. wind on the wind side and come back to the top early afternoon quartering away from the NW wind in the same day on the lee side. The only reason I had the same big deer twice in the same day was that I was just off his wind river and his line of travel was so defined by the feature like steve is talking about in the ravine. I was within 15 yards on the ground but the wind and his turn to the top was just beyond his wind corridor/river. This would be a good topic to go over again for mountain setups that work for afternoon and the thermal draw at dusk.

You should definitely do a podcast on your first farm buying experience. Research you did before. Questions you asked neighbors. Things to look out for as far as red flags. I'm currently just starting to get interested in buying my first piece.

100%! In fact, not announced yet, we are doing a parallel podcast (likely shorter in length) called “I Bought A Farm” that will go through everything in detail and even the journey of the farm investment and how to make money etc.

Hey guys, new subscriber here. Totally off topic to this video but I'm catching up. I'm watching your first interview with bill winke. As a 50 year old , 44 years bowhunting guy, incredible, informative , progressive story about the industry and the journey of Bill. I date back to reading his articles straight out of the mailbox about his adventures in whitetail hunting from numerous magazines. So cool to hear how that all happened and where it went from there. I don't know how many viewers are interested in all that but I am damn sure one of them. Thank you guys for bringing me back to where I started my addiction with hunting and then the follow up with one of the pioneers of this whole thing. Thank you Bill Winks. Just saying

No disrespect by state, just the way some hunters were out there hunting and clearly having issues with other people on public land. Doesn’t matter where they are from…it’s public for a reason, don’t set up 150yards from parking lots

Thermals have to do with air temp. If air temp is rising so are thermals and vise versa.

Saw 4 guys with PA shirts looking to buy a mobile stand. Bout the time you’re referencing. Didn’t think anything of it until now. You guys stop in Springfield? Hope you guys had better luck in IL the second trip. Yes I remember the 7-14th being pretty poor in regards to weather. Was lucky enough to tag out that week despite the warmer temps. 🤘 get after em

What a drag, 30 min ride to work, skipped 15 mins additional in the midst. Boils down to 40something percent of the whole video and still basically nothing but these goofs not letting the guest get to many words in. I was hesitant about clicking on this clearly podcast due to that suspicion. It’s 2 hours for no real good reason.
