Gotta look at the team as a whole when looking at production. Their o-line only has 1 drafted OL in last 5 years . Then add up down QB play dur to the OL. Then add in the depth chart of who was 1 , 2 and 3 reads above him.

9:32 this is the statement that makes this video. No one remembers who the SC QB was before Rattler. And even Rattler wasn't as consistent as any SC fan hoped for when he transferred here. As a panther fan, gotta hope for the best, but i think he's definitely an upgrade from Mingo just the speed alone. With Theilen and Johnson getting the bulk of targets he's in a better spot than Mingo was coming in. Less immediate pressure to perform, and can return kicks while building on his game and learning from a couple vets. Kinda like the guy with the glasses on the left did when he was a kid lol. Also, i think Mingo will take a step forward in year 2. Bryce with a couple extra seconds to find guys as well as him having some nfl experience will make a big difference imo. The high pick might be a little added pressure but i don't think it'll matter. Some wr screens like the old John Fox and 89 days, some reverses, line him up in the backfield and let him cook. If you can't make that size and speed work, you're doing something wrong as a coaching staff

Carolina had Rattler in 2022 and 2023. Rattler made 2 top all SEC WR each over 1000 yards. Juice Wells in 2022 who was injured most of last season and Xavier Legette. Our WR2 in 2022 was Jaheim Bell who was snatched up by Lincoln Riley in the portal. it's not surprising Xavier didn't have better numbers especially as he missed a lot the season prior

I believe Legette would be a perfect pick up for a team with a number 1 receiver already on the team. He could learn from that number 1 receiver and not have all that pressure on him from the beginning. I do see him as being a future number 1 WR with experience.
