Coach Spurrier was successful as a head coach because he had unshakable confidence in himself that he could win and he instilled that confidence in his players. HBC can identify with what Coach Prime is doing at Colorado. Duke had never won an ACC championship in football until Coach Spurrier got there ('89). Coach Prime will undoubtedly win a bunch of championships at Colorado.

Coach Sanders aka Coach Prime is a Unicorn, no coach White or Black could have done what he is doing and I doubt there will be an influx of BLK Head Coaches in college or pro football. The vast majority of inner city high schools have BLK HC’s who have developed and provided mentorship for these young men, but will never get a sniff at an assistant position nor Head Coach on a P5 level. I love what Coach Prime is doing but what would have been really impressive is had he hired a BLK OC or DC because that is the only way you become a Head Coach. Coach Prime is smart, OC Sean Lewis will get a P5 HC job within 2 years, because P5 schools will do whatever to get him away from Coach Prime. Afterwards, Coach Prime will hire a BLK OC.
