Yup - not only was it so inspiring, the speech was also 100% true. If you don't bring it every day, there's a man next to you and on the opposite side who wants it just as much and will take it from you without hesitation. I've coached youth at basketball for years and tell them all the time that sometimes hard work gets you there. Sometimes desire gets you there. But sometimes the guy on the other side has just as much of that as you do, so you need to get a little nasty streak and rip it away from him. They won't give it to you voluntarily - sometimes you have to just take it. To me, that's what Michael is saying here and taking it requires way more effort than if someone gives it to you.
