nah bro u faded, he played clean and note for note, his tone is breaking his legs here, he almost have no drive/distortion and on top of that, the original solo is played with a wah effect, but even with no wah, if he had at least a good amount of distortion, the shredding solo would be 100x better sounding. This tone here is almost clean, it just has a little bit of crunch, and every one who have experience playing guitar knows no matter how good you are, if you trying to shred high distortion solo, it will sound awkward.
