3 of my top 5 guitar players, right there! Vai, Malmsteen, Satriani, Rhodes, and my ALWAYS #1, Brian May! Satriani has a cute story about when he was a teenager & a neighbor kid knockes on the door when he was home, alone, strings in one hand, unstrung guitar in the other, "Can you teach me to play?" "Yeah, get in here, ya ugly little kid." That "ugly little kid" was Stevie Vai!! This was amazing, guys!!

Brian May may not be the best (what is "The best guitarist in the world" ?) but he is pretty damn good at what he does and one thing I like about his playing: He does not make things more special than they are and that is a quality that many musicians could learn alot from. He has created a sound that is recognisable everywhere. Nobody is in any doubt when he is playing and everybody knows who is playing.
