It sounds a lot like the good and old Steve Vai, from Passion and Warfare to The Ultra Zone time... As an 11 year old beginner guitarist those sounds made me crazy back then, around 2003... I used to visit his website every single day to see his guitar collection... I'm almost 30 years old, and listening to this new track (as well as seeing that Mr Vai is still crazy as usual with his guitar designs haha) simply made me wanna get my JEM out of the guitar case and shred some Lydian scales 'til the end of times :D
@zwastiunburzy36882 жыл бұрын
You wanna get crazy Steve Vai? I've got, happily so, on original vinyl, the album that introduced me to the schizomaniacal genius of Mr. Vai, Flexable. And it still gives me chills down my spine, especially "The Attitude Song", but there's much more insane goodness on it as well.
@cesar.losdias2 жыл бұрын
@@zwastiunburzy3688 definitely a game changer in guitar history... Flexable, in my opinion, was a prequel to what he showed the world in Passion and Warfare...
@zwastiunburzy36882 жыл бұрын
@@cesar.losdias For sure! Whereas Flexable was, from memory, done with not much of a budget at all, Passion and Warfare was him showing what he could do with better production and polish. Having said that, I do like the rawness of Flexable, and it'll always be one of my favourite Vai albums. I've even still got the free, very "flexible" copy of "The Attitude Song", that came with that months issue of "Guitar Player" magazine!

Theeth of the Hydra is an imperishable masterpiece, crafted with arcane splendour and imbued with the majestic strength of Hydra, revealing itself in sonorous harmonies of unparalleled brilliance.
