I REdiscovered this song about the time my wife died in 2002 at age 54 of brain cancer and have loved it ever since. I play it every time I start a vacation trip anywhere and have shared it with many friends and on FaceBook. It is a simple yet wonderfully profound hope and wish for yourself and others and has a very positive outlook on life. Thank you for posting this and a wonderful job on the video. Andre'

Over 30 years of truck driving across America's highways "Life's Highway" and other good old country music melted the miles away

This old "diesel bear" thanks you for your millions miles in service to this country. I played this song so many times I killed the tape and gladly bought another. This is most definately music for starting your day as well as listening to every mile you drive.

I have one of the greatest memories with this song. I was at work in the summer at a weigh station just north of Toledo Ohio and north bound truck traffic would back up onto the hiway starting at 7:30am. I turned my outdoor loud speaker system onto this song and flagged every truck through and back onto the hiway. They gunned those purring diesels and sounded those beautiful air horns as I went outside and waved them all through the scales. Free to roll the highway and feed the industrial might and power of the United States of America on that golden day. This was way way back when there were lots of big healthy steel mills in both Ohio and Michigan and we weren't the "rust belt" just yet. All that type of truck traffic dwindled down to very little cold steel moving by truck. I remember all you guys driving those rigs and hope life has treated you well "On Life's Highway".

Wow! My favorite song by this amazing country music singer and guitar player. I saw him in 1987 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa opening for Reba Macintire and he started out with this song and he really got the crowd into it and also my wife and I saw him in 1994 in Waterloo. Iowa opening for Tammy Wynette and he was just as good. I have performed this great song at a few gigs I have done and also at a free stage at the Jones County Fair in Monticello, Iowa. This song is so much fun to play and sing.

Weeeeeeee❤️🤓❤️ The best. Dang, just as good as I remember !! He reminds me of an old friend I use to have on a social page in my thirties. Phil D. I bursted a blood vessel in my eye once for laughing so hard at something he said/typed. Was so worth it. Lol 😅
