Great reaction. Steve Winwood is the man! This is his song, his version. On the studio version video he is accompanied by the great Chaka Khan. Go watch back to the 1960’s for his song Gimme Some Lovin’ as he was a teenager when he had this breakout song. You will recognize the song immediately from tv commercials and wonder why you didn’t realize it was him.

I saw Steve Winwood in concert in person 35 years ago for my college graduation gift!-That is Steve Winwood's song!Kygo did remake and somehow added Whitney posthumously.He did that with another song of Phil Collins and so many people think it's Whitney's but it's Phil Collins song!If I'm not mistaken Chaka Khan sang back up on Higher Love for Steve Winwood

HE and Will Jennings wrote it, and Chaka Khan backed him up in the studio version; went all the way to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Kygo does love some of the same music as I do so no wonder he wanted to remake this song, but this is originally from late 80's :)

kygo & whitney werent bad but his version triumps every other. He is the original so your good to know. Thanks for listening and I am glad it blessed you as it still moves me now since the first time I heard it in the early 2000s though its been around since the 80s.

Steve Winwood could sing even when he was an teenager. There are not so many white men that has same kinda soul in their voice.

Always loved this song growing up. Would be good if you can check out Jon Secada “just another day” think it was from 1992 the offical video also loved this song
