You can get the canned fish in all major supermarkets in Slovenia. It's a pretty popular meal when camping and they have lots of different flavours. Eat it myself quite often and loving it.

Thanks for mention Steve and thanks for the review. This is very strange ration, maybe it's one time deal. Because my friend from Slovenian Army always cries how his officers don't allow him to buy ammunition by himself because they almost have any in exercises. He always complains for the lack of things in the forces. Looking forward to see that Type C 24h review. Great review as always. Can't say much that you haven't already. So, I'll use this comment to tell you that your music evokes a long lost feeling to me, that warm, cozy aesthetic of the mid 90's-early 2000's prepackaged futurism I'd see on old Packard Bell computers and products littered around my dad's office when he'd take me there. It summons images of logos and branding that may or may not have existed, but take me back not just to my childhood- but to rare moments otherwise forgotten. I hope we see more of it in the future.

there's nothing to test, they are portable. also, his current format is preferable and more easily replicated. it's easier to eliminate variables such as sound and light among other things. i would personally prefer to see him do a video with a Veteran reviewing an MRE from the era said Veteran served. maybe review that veterans favorite, or rather most memorable, MRE. i think that could be really cool.

My late wife was Slovenian. They like tiny cups of coffee, just a little bigger than demi-tasse cups. I always had to order two cups when we ate out to get about the same as a regular American cup of coffee. A lot of Slovenians are coffee connoisseurs so I'm not surprised that coffee was good. They are also big fish eaters so all their canned fish is pretty high quality. I was surprised to see the vegetarian entree. Slovenians love their meat. Except for some millennial hipsters, there aren't many vegetarians in Slovenia.

It's actually closer to Rijeka (where one of my cousins lives) than Koper. Anyway, all history and geography set aside, I really hope companies like Delamaris, Kolinska, Podravka and others go on and don't die or disintegrate into oblivion. It's tragicomedy that it's foreign stores like Lidl and Hofer (Aldi) that sometimes feature Kavabon, Gorenjka, Cedevita, Eurokrem, etc in their retro packaging. As a kid, I ate a lot of Helf candies. Then Mercator had them available for a few months in 2006 and I haven't seen them since.

Was just in Ljubljana and Ptuj!!! Slovenia is not known for their cuisine. HOWEVER!!! their wine is amazing! Cheap, and very good! Germanic whites and amazing table reds! Now for fun facts! Slovenia has a population of about 2.5 million people, takes about 2 hours to cross lengthwise and 3-4 hours width wise! Everyone speaks great English and all signs are in English also! They are taught English as a secondary language along with German (Austria has a huge influence on them). Also most of those flavors and beverage components are made in a facility known as ETOL (Frutarom) d.d. in Skofja Vas

Is it just me, or do foreign FRH systems seem so much better than the US provided heaters? I’ve yet to get a US FRH to actually heat thoroughly any of the two pouch menus. It’s bad enough trying to get two pouches in the bag without it ripping, and then almost impossible to get the FRH wet out and heating properly. Meanwhile, this bag has plenty of room, and an FRH that makes me worry about burning the surface it’s placed on. So much more effective!

Well, here is a thing... This fish can is made in Slovenia and this products exists in our stores for quite a few decades and we love it. Very tasty and very good quality. So, while you were dissapointed on main meal... Of corse, it is product of Spain. I cannot tell, if they have poor food quality in general, but still, Slovenian food is famous for excellent quality. In our country, there is a lot of restaurants with unbelievable good food.. Cheers from Slovenia.. ;- Btw... I love your channel very much. Keep doin` good job.

Hello friend, as a mexican who has done his military service, there is no such thing as a mexican MRE, we eat in cafeterias located in several parts of the city, and the food is prepared in large chunks as the ones in the school caffeterias. :)
