The one big reason I never bought one was thier short maintenance intervals. I live in Alaska only 1 dealer its in South Anchorage. My 850 gsa can go alot longer on oil changes and checking vales. like the older multisrada i like to see how they compare now.
@JJAhern3 жыл бұрын
I work at that dealer and will be one of the first to have a Multistrada V4S, in large part due to the long service intervals. Even though I have easy access to the service dept. I don't want to be paying for Desmo services if I don't have to.

Thanks for sharing Steve. Curious as to what Ducati event you’re attending? Is that here in the US? Any knowledge of the Ducati road show that will travel around the US with a group of Multi V4’s for test ride days? Looking forward to your riding video and in-depth opinions of this bike, especially as compared to the previous gen 1260S. 👍

I'm at the official US press launch. It's so good compared to the 1200 enduro and 1260 it's not even a fair comparison but the V4s is flawless except sand and mud... kinda like all adv bikes

I hope you push them hard; I came from the DVT 1200S which was a gem of a bike for road touring. I’m waiting on the ‘21 GS1250 to reach my country. This MTSV4 has too much dollar premium over the GS1250. Anyway, we all have to own a GS once in our lives if the wallet (and wife) allows it. Speed and strength to you my friend! Always loved your videos! Maybe take one of these puppies to the Sandblast Rally! 😂

Hi, Whats ur take on Suspension, Braking, engine heating against the 1250GS and Seat comfort. Also hows the slow speed ride like when you in backroads..... Do u need to keep checking the gears like the old 1260 or its closer to the GS on slow speed ride.

Great looking, amazing tech. Can’t wait for the review (especially looking out the window at snowy NJ thinking I wont be riding for months) its the only thing keeping me going. Does the FBI have to sign off on the review before you can post it?

Can you please tell us what do you think about the leg room on this beast? I have tested the 950 Multi and I found it to be quite cramped. At least compared to my Triumph Scrambler 1200.

Slow speed control? Ease of balance at slow speeds? Radius of sit down u turns? (E.g. Double track, come up to a downed tree, gotta turn around) Gas mileage at various speeds? Engine fun factor (KTM or Super Tenere?)

I am looking forward to this test ride. As you know, I have the 2019 Pikes Peak fully set up for touring and iron butts, and I would love to find out if you think it is worth an upgrade. Being a short guy the only downside I see is the dread sky-hook suspension, as I prefer my suspension to be manual. Please let know what you think!

Exactly. All msrp's will be raised once approved by the us dot but I got a chance to try all of it on a unlocked version and let me tell you the BLind Spot detection is worth it alone and the radar system is better than you can imagine

I saw on the news the other day that Ford had to stop production lines for the F-150s due to not being able to get the computer modules for them.

If you mean it holds together with minimal damage when you hit the ground, (like a tIger, Africa Twin, GS, etc.), then that’s great! If you mean it excels at helping you tip over, that’s not as great. I’m gonna assume both are true.
